Versiunea de PlayStation 4 pentru SOMA a primit un nou update prin care se introduce în joc Safe Mode, disponibil în versiunile de PC și Xbox One ale jocului.

Safe Mode este dedicat celor care găsesc porțiunile stealth din joc dificile, cu activarea acestui mod fiind mai ușor de trecut de ele. Creaturile subacvatice nu te vor mai ataca imediat cum te văd ci vor adapta un comportament mai blând.
