Sony a prezentat la Paris Games Week 2017 Guacamelee 2 pentru PlayStation 4, lansarea va avea loc „soon-ish”.

Totuși, videoclipul furnizat de Sony menționează că producătorul jocului, Drinkbox Studios, este și distribuitorul său, ce înseamnă, mai mult ca sigur, că jocul va veni și pe PC și Xbox One.

Guacamelee 2 este un metroidvania cu influențe wrestling într-o lume a morții, având singleplayer și 4-player co-op.
