Capcom a anunțat la PSX 2016 un nou fighting game, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, care este deja disponibil pe PS4, în timp ce pe PC va sosi în martie 2017.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 este versiunea remasterizată a originalului din 2011 și include mutanții Marvel, pe care Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite îi va ignoră.
