Cave Story va sosi pe Switch în iunie cu titlul Cave Story+ a anunțat Nicalis. Va fi disponibil în format retail și digital la prețul de $29.99.

Versiunea de Switch a Cave Story oferă grafică high-definition, 7 mod-uri de joc (Wind Fortress, Boss Rush, etc.), mai mult de 20 de lupte cu personaje de tip Boss, 15 niveluri, 10 arme unice și 4 finaluri unice.
