In transele ei mentioneaza un nume: Silent Hill! Mama sa Rose pleaca spre aceasta localitate pentru a gasi raspunsuri ale starii fetitei sale. Acest orasel a fost evacuat din cauza unui incendiu cauzat de emiterei de gaze provocate de carbune, pericol inca iminent. Dupa un accident, Rose se trezeste intr-o alta dimensiune a localitatii, unde Sharon este disparuta.
